On Wednesday, March 22nd, several members of our Hilltop Road Public School community participated in the World's Greatest Shave to help find a cure for leukaemia. At our morning assembly, Vicki Tonga, Stasi Tonga, Elizabeth Gates and Mr Scott Hall-Watson said goodbye to their hair in a show of support for those suffering from leukaemia, in an effort to raise vital funds for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Taking inspiration from this bold display, one of our brave and compassionate year 2 students, Mila Boland, later took to the stage to have her own head shaved in support of the Leukaemia Foundation.
