Throughout week 9 at Hilltop Road Public School we hosted our end of year presentation assemblies. After a couple of years of restrictions, it was fabulous to once again be able to gather as a community and celebrate the achievements of our learners.
We hosted our K-2 Presentation Assembly on Tuesday, December 6, and our 3-4 and 5-6 Presentation Assemblies on Wednesday, December 7. Many students received awards, medals and trophies in recognition of their achievements academically, on the sports field and as citizens. We were entertained by our school's choirs, dance groups and drum group. Many proud parents were in attendance to see their children shine.
On Thursday, December 8, we held our Ready Set Go Transition Assembly. This assembly, attended by our K-2 students, is the first official school assembly for our incoming kindergarten 2023 students, as they graduate from the Ready Set Go program and prepare to begin school. Our Ready Set Go graduates have settled beautifully into the Hilltop Road Public School community during their 20 weeks participating in the transition program and we look forward to welcoming them all in their uniforms next year.
We are so proud of all of our students and the progress they have made this year. Thank you to the teachers who work tirelessly to support our students, and who organised these celebrations of learning this week. Thank you also to the parents and community members who attended and made our assemblies extra special.
