Year 4 have been working very hard on their PBL projects investigaing sustainable development goals.
From 4SV, Mya and Ghezal focused on preservation of gorilla habitats. They organised a banana lolly guessing competition to raise money for their cause. Each day they took guesses from students and community memebers who estimated the number of banana lollies in their large jar. They charged 50c for each guess, or $1 for 3 guesses. In total they raised more than $55 to help save the gorillas.
Another group featuring Mohammed, Onyedika, Mahum, Rochelle and Mahlik focused on the "zero hunger" goal. As a result the students took the initiative to contact OZHARVEST, make posters and flyers and collect food. The students packed 7 boxes worth of food and the OZHARVEST people came out on Tuesday 30th October, collected their donations and thanked them on behalf of people in need. Well done 4N students!
We are very proud of all the hard work year 4 is doing for their PBL and for the world around them!
