Canteen

Our school canteen offers healthy, affordable food options for students. All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students.

Hilltop Road Public School canteen is open Monday to Friday. The canteen is open before school to take lunch orders. Lunch orders must be labelled with the student's name and class. The canteen sells food approved by the New South Wales (NSW) canteen association.

Crunch and Sip

Crunch and sip is a set break to eat fruit (or salad/vegetables) and drink water in the classroom. Each morning students 're-fuel' with fruit or vegetables during the morning or afternoon – assisting physical and mental performance and concentration in the classroom.

Each day students bring fruit (or salad/vegetables) to school to eat in the classroom at a set time. Please support crunch and sip at our school by ensuring your child has their fruit in a small container cut into bite size pieces and water each day.
