Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Canteen
All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.
Hilltop Road Public School canteen is open monday to friday. The canteen is open before school to take lunch orders. Lunch orders must be labelled with the student's name and class. The canteen sells food approved by the New South Wales (NSW) canteen association. Download and view our canteen price list.
Crunch and sip
Crunch and sip is a set break to eat fruit (or salad/vegetables) and drink water in the classroom. Students 're-fuel' with fruit or vegetables during the morning or afternoon – assisting physical and mental performance and concentration in the classroom.
Each day students bring fruit (or salad/vegetables) to school to eat in the classroom at a set time. During education week, each Hilltop Road Public School child received a bottle of water and a small container for their fruit or vegetables during crunch and sip.
Please support crunch and sip at Hilltop Road Public School by ensuring your child has their fruit in a small container cut into bite size pieces and water each day.
Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

In order for all children to have access to the uniform, the school provides the opportunity to purchase the uniform either new or second hand.

Sale days
At Hilltop Road Public School are uniform sale days are:
- Monday and Friday from 8:30am to 9:15am
- Wednesday from 2:30pm to 3:15pm.
Hiring our facilities
You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
